Location
The Kanalkajüten are located in the resort of Hanerau- Hademarschen in Schleswig-Holstein. Many family-friendly excursion destinations and shopping facilities are just a few minutes away. There are also many playgrounds to discover in the village.
Public transport is well developed, so you can explore the surrounding area by bus and train.
The Kiel Canal with the Fischerhütte ferry station can be reached by bike in just 9 minutes. Use of the ferries across the NOK is free of charge. A visit to Brunsbüttel or Kiel with a tour of the lock mile is highly recommended.
The North Sea and Baltic Sea are less than an hour's drive away, Denmark can be reached in 1.5 hours and Hamburg is around 70 minutes away.
