Location
“Grenzschleuse” is located in the south of Nordhorn in the county of Bentheim, directly on the Nordhorn-Almelo Canal and not far from the Dutch border. Many attractions can be reached within 15 minutes by bike, including Nordhorn Zoo, Frenswegen Abbey, Bentheim Castle and the nearest swimming pool. The Dutch cities of Hengelo, Entschede and Almelo are around 30 minutes away by car.
