The house is divided into two residential units and is therefore ideal for a vacation with several families. On the first floor there is a small living room with adjoining eat-in kitchen and two seats, a bedroom with a double bed and a modern shower room. Outside there is a terrace with access to the garden.

The upper floor has another spacious living room with dining area, an adjoining large kitchen, a toddler-friendly shower room, a bedroom with bunk beds and play equipment, a bedroom with a family bed (240x200cm) and a reading room with an infrared sauna. 

The cozy vacation home is located in idyllic Silwingen, a small village that belongs to the district town of Merzig. The surrounding area is an excellent starting point for long bike tours and hikes through the countryside. There are also swimming pools, special gardens and restaurants nearby. A variety of excursion destinations for children and families, such as the climbing harbor, the Wolfspark and the Maisalm, can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The sculpture symposium “Steine an der Grenze” is located directly in Silwingen. Thirty-four sculptures are lined up along the German-French border. You can explore the sculptures on foot or by bike. There is a playground directly opposite the house and another playground with a football pitch is just a few minutes' walk away. Silwingen borders directly on France. The border with Luxembourg is approx. 30 km away and Saarbrücken can be reached in just under 40 minutes by car. Trier - the oldest city in Germany - is around 50 km from the vacation home.
